Multi-Domestic Management

In cooperation with the University Witten-Herdecke and the Management Center Witten, we deal with the special challenges managers face in the context of international business. We focus on executives who are being prepared for management positions in decentralized, multinational businesses and the multicultural challenges these managers face. The key issue is how these decentralized, multinational businesses can be controlled and, in terms of management approach, which particular issues must be addressed.

The following issues are important:

• What are the key requirements of effective, intercultural management?
• How are developing “mixed cultures” used productively?
• How can personnel development be applied in this context?
• How can cultural and business-oriented issues be linked?
